Hi everyone and welcome to my camping equipment website.

I love everything to do with the outdoors and over the years I’ve built up a fair amount of knowledge in this field.

I really enjoy camping and want to share the experience I’ve gained of camping with others.

My Story

I’ve been a Cub Scout Leader for nearly 10 years, interestingly enough I never did Scouting or camping as a child myself – so you could say I’m a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to this field… However, I’m making up for lost time now and being involved with Scouts as an adult has enabled me to actualise my love of camping and outdoor skills.

Unfortunately, my wife doesn’t share this love and so family camps are a no-no… she says and I quote ‘If we’re having a holiday, I’m not spending it sleeping in the dirt… If we’re going away I want a nice, comfortable bed!’ Haha, but you know what they say – opposites attract.

One of my role models when it comes to outdoor skills and survival is Bear Grylls, I love watching his TV programmes on how to survive in different types of natural terrains and these programmes have further increased my passion for the outdoors.

It’s All So Confusing

Nowadays there are so many outdoor gadgets available, that it can sometimes seem a bit overwhelming – which tent should I buy? What’s the best torch for my needs? Do I really need a £100 pair of hiking boots?!
