Overview

The Olight Obulb Plus comes with a high performance white LED and high performance RGB LEDs and is powered by a built-in 2000mAh 3.7V 26350 rechargeable lithium battery.

Using the smartphone app allows for the uses of a multitude of different colour options and variations.

Key Features

Lighting

The light emitted is very soft and smooth, thanks to the diffuse nature of the Obulb casing.

Power Button and Modes

The power button is located on top of the Obulb and is operated by a double tap to switch the light on.

Keeping the power pressed while the light is on switches between 6 inbuilt modes.

More modes can be accessed via the smartphone app (see below)

Pressing and holding down the power button while the light is on activates step-less dimming.

Smart Phone App

The smart phone app is very innovative and has lots of extra features that adds a great deal to the functionality of the Obulb.

There are numerous lighting options – the colour wheel allows for virtually any colour to be chosen.

In addition to this there are a good number of extra modes/themes to suit any mood…

The brightness level can also be controlled using the app.

The app has several other features too:

• Countdown timer – this allows you to set a timer at the end of which the Obulb will automatically turn off.
• Music mode – when this is enabled, the light will follow the rhythm of music by using the phone’s microphone.
• Group Control – the app allows for the addition of multiple Obulbs to one account. This allows you to synchronise them and set them all to one colour at the touch of a button.

Charging

Charging occurs via Olight’s signature magnetic charging cable – There is a standard USB on the other end that can be used with any USB plug or portable battery.

The magnetic pad on the cable has a charging light next to it that lights up red when charging and green once fully charged and it takes 3 hours to fully charge the battery from flat.

Body

The body of the Obulb Plus is made from a Plasticised Copolyamide Thermoplastic Elastomer.

It’s very comfortable to hold and light to carry and transport.

Ohook

The Obulb Plus is compatible with the Ohook, which allows it to be hung from a variety of places.
