Olight make some fantastic torches and now they’ve decided to branch out into knives.

We’re going to take a look at the new Olight Drever Oknife to see if the quality is a good as their lights.

Overview

The Oknife is a folding pocket knife that features a 3.49 inch N690 stainless steel, sheepsfoot blade and a contoured G10 handle.

It’s very compact, weighing just under 100g and with a closed length of 4.5 inches.

Features

Blade & Handle

The blade is extremely sharp and sliced through tough cardboard with ease. I anticipate that it will have no problem slicing through wood and the like.

The blade is made from N690 stainless steel and so should maintain excellent edge retention, only time will tell if this is the case.

The contoured handle is shaped very well and sits in the hand comfortably.

Opening

The Oknife features a flipper tab and thumb studs to make opening the blade effortless and perfect for ambidextrous use.

The knife features a liner lock that prevents the blade from closing while fully opened… an important safety feature to prevent it closing on your fingers. Although this does mean, that you can’t carry it around in the UK without a valid reason.

Pocket Clip

The pocket clip is placed in such a way that it allows the knife to sit deep in the pocket, this makes the chances of it falling out much less.
